Sweeper

A produced audio element that transitions between songs while reinforcing the station brand.

A sweeper is a short produced piece — music bed, voiceover, effects — that plays between songs to keep energy up and remind the listener what they are hearing. It "sweeps" the listener from one element to the next.

Sweepers are a core part of imaging and are usually built around the station’s name and positioning.
