What it does

Extension capabilities

Six things Ava can do the moment you open the side panel.

Quick-action chips

Turn any story into teases, talk breaks, social posts, or rewrites with one click — no prompt crafting required.

Selection save

Highlight any passage and a floating Save button drops the selection straight into your RCP library.

Smart context

Ava auto-reads the page when you navigate. A refresh button re-reads on demand if the article changes.

Library sync

Everything saved flows into your Radio Content Pro library and is ready for Show Builder, Daily Prep, or export.

Any site, any article

News, blogs, social feeds, long-form, press releases — if it loads in Chrome, Ava can work with it.

Format-aware

Outputs match the format and voice you set in RCP — Buzz, Country, Edge, Rock, Talk, all ten kits.

Good to know

  • On first use, Chrome asks for permission to read the sites you visit. Ava only reads the active page while the side panel is open — details in the privacy section below.
  • Don’t have an RCP account yet? The extension installs fine, but you’ll need a subscription to chat with Ava. Start a 7-day free trial →

Questions

Frequently asked

Short answers to the things everyone asks before installing.

Do I need a Radio Content Pro subscription?

Yes. The extension is free to install, but Ava requires an active RCP account to chat or save content. If you're new to RCP, start a 7-day free trial at radiocontentpro.com/start — then sign into the extension with the same account.

What data does the extension collect?

Only the page content you explicitly send to Ava, your chat messages, and your account authentication. We don't track your browsing, show ads, or sell data. Page content is read only while the side panel is open — never in the background. All data flows exclusively to Radio Content Pro servers.

Which sites does it work on?

Any public website you visit in Chrome — news sites, blogs, social feeds, long-form articles. Page content is only read while the side panel is open. Some pages may block content extraction (login screens, private intranets, PDF viewers); on those pages Ava falls back to a "can't read this page" message and waits for you to navigate somewhere else.

How is this different from the WordPress plugin?

The WordPress plugin auto-publishes RCP-curated content to your station website. The Chrome extension works the other direction — it helps Ava turn anything you find on the open web into teases, talk breaks, and scripts, and saves those to your RCP library. They're companion products: the extension creates, the plugin publishes.

What Chrome versions are supported?

Chrome 114 or newer. The extension also works on Chromium-based browsers that support Chrome extensions, including Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Arc. It does not currently support Firefox or Safari.
