Liner

A short scripted line stating the station’s name, positioning, or slogan, read live or pre-produced.

A liner is a brief, repeatable line — often the station name and a positioning phrase — that reinforces branding. Liners can be read live by talent or produced as imaging.

They are written to be said the same way often, so the audience absorbs the positioning through repetition.
