RSS Feed
A standardized, machine-readable list of a site’s latest content that other services can subscribe to.
An RSS feed is a structured file — updated automatically — that lists a site’s newest items so apps, aggregators, and podcast directories can pull them in without a human checking the site. It is the plumbing behind podcast distribution and many content integrations.
For content that needs to move from one system to another automatically, an RSS feed is often the connective tissue.
