A podcast is a series of audio episodes published to a feed that listeners subscribe to and play on their own schedule. Many stations repurpose on-air segments into podcasts to reach the audience beyond the broadcast signal.
Podcasts extend the shelf life of content: a strong segment can keep drawing listeners long after it aired live.
