Appointment Listening
When listeners tune in at a specific time because they do not want to miss a recurring feature.
Appointment listening is the loyalty payoff of a strong benchmark: the audience builds a habit around a scheduled feature and tunes in on purpose at that time. It is one of the most durable ways to grow time spent listening.
It only works if the recurring feature stays fresh — the appointment is only kept as long as the content rewards it.
