RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
A technique that grounds AI output in specific source documents retrieved at generation time.
Retrieval-augmented generation combines a language model with a search step: relevant source material is pulled in first, then the model writes using that material rather than only its training. This keeps output tied to real, current, specific information.
RAG is how content systems stay accurate and on-brand — the model works from vetted sources instead of guessing from memory.
